Palmer v Simmonds (1854)

(1854) 2 Drew 221. The testator made a will which stated certain
dispositions, then indicated a trust of ``...the
bulk of my residuary estate...''. The trust failed, because the court
held that the phrase ``the bulk of'' did not allow the exact subject matter
of the trust to be determined (see CertaintyOfSubjectMatter).
